TVIA SUPPORTS FUJITSU SIEMENS COMPUTERS ACTIVY MEDIA CENTER

, Calif.- March. 18, 2004 - Tvia, Inc. (Nasdaq:TVIA), a leading provider of multimedia processors for the advanced TV and emerging display markets, announced its CyberPro 5005 processor chip provides the TV output for the ACTIVY Media Center introduced by Fujitsu Siemens Computers and T-Online in Germany.
 
The entertainment center combines the latest in television and digital technology to offer viewers a choice of TV, show replay, recording, CD, DVD, MP3 and Internet access. The Cyberpro 5005 chip offers a 64-bit 2D graphics engine, alpha blending capabilities and two video-capture ports which enable the merging of TV, VCR, DVD and video camera signals. The processor also integrates a TV encoder plus a Macrovision copyright protection feature.
