Tvia LCD and Plasma Designs Continue to Gain Momentum With Flat-Panel TV Manufacturers in China
Shenzhen Yong De Fu Now Shipping LCD and Plasma TVs
Based on Tvia Designs and TrueView 5600 Processor SANTA CLARA, Calif.–– Oct 27th 2006 ––Tvia, Inc. (NASDAQ SC: TVIA), a leading provider of digital display processors for advanced flat-panel TVs, broadcast digital DVRs, consumer displays, and monitors, today announced that Shenzhen Yong De Fu Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. (YDF) is now shipping a full line of LCD and Plasma TVs based on Tvia turnkey designs using TrueView 5600 display processors. YDF is a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of consumer electronic products for export from mainland China.
The new models released by YDF include 32-inch and 37-inch LCD-TVs based on Tvia LCD-TV designs powered by TrueView 5600 digital display processors, as well as 42-inch Plasma TVs based on Tvia’s PDP-TV design with TrueView 5600. YDF is shipping the flat-panel TVs to electronics distributors in North America, South America, and Europe.
