Tvia, Tuxia, and EPoX International, Technology Partners, Hold Product Demonstration for Advanced Set Top Boxes

  COMDEX, Las Vegas, November 7, 2001
¨C Tvia, Inc. (NASDAQ: TVIA) and partners TUXIA and EPoX International will be demonstrating their technology and product platforms at COMDEX. Specifically TUXIA embedded Linux software and Tvia streaming media gateway processors (SMGPs™) will be shown via the EPoX broadband set top box.
Tvia participates in the TUXIA strategic partner program. Both companies will be showing how TASTE (TUXIA Appliance Synthesis Technology) and the developer toolkit, TSE (TUXIA Synthesis Environment), can be integrated with the Tvia CyberPro streaming media gateway processor family to help vendors such as EPoX develop set top boxes for enhanced interactive television capabilities.
 
Technology and products from Tvia and TUXIA are used in the design, development, and implementation of other interactive Internet-based devices including digital televisions and streaming-media-on-demand applications.
 
EPoX is using Tvia CyberPro™5355 in their set top box, the MVP3-H.
